Sissy Farenthold (’49) was a tireless, fearless warrior for those without a voice. At the request of family and friends, the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center established this memorial fund to help ensure that Sissy’s legacy lives on, and that her voice continues to be heard. The fund supports academic, advocacy, and creative work on a broad range of issues to which Sissy was committed, including peace, environmental and climate justice, and reproductive and sexual rights.
