Thank you for your support of The Joseph C. Parker, Jr. Pipeline Program Fund
Honored as a Trail Blazer by the State Bar of Texas, Rev. Joseph C. Parker, Jr. is a respected voice and bridge builder on many key Austin issues. Rev. Parker’s legal work championed the equal, ethical, and fair treatment of all people, and raised awareness of the need for a diverse community.
Rev. Parker has received numerous awards, including the 2013 Heman Marion Sweatt Civil Rights Legacy Award from UT Austin and the 2018 Founders Award from the Austin NAACP in recognition of distinguished service and contributions to the African-American Community.
To honor his impact on our community and with the support of his family and friends, The University of Texas School of Law is accepting gifts in Rev. Parker’s honor. Gifts will be used to create an endowment to support the Pipeline Program. This program promotes access to legal education for students who are first-generation, low-income, or members of groups underrepresented in the legal profession. A contribution to this fund will provide education, mentoring, and scholarship support for the next generation of attorneys from diverse backgrounds for law school admissions and success.
