Previous Endowment Reports

Every year, endowment principals receive a financial update on their particular funds, along with a general update on the status of endowments at the Law School and Law School Foundation.

Foundation Support

Over the past 10 years, the Foundation has provided approximately $84 million of financial support to the Law School.  This support is provided through endowments and other designated gifts, as well as support provided from funds of the Foundation itself. Many different initiatives are funded through this support such as student scholarships and fellowships, faculty chairs and professorships, and programs such as the Pro Bono program, and the Center for Women in Law. This chart shows the categories of support from both donor-designated funds and Foundation resources.

Endowment Growth

The endowments benefiting the Law School have grown considerably over the past 20 years.  The chart on the right reflects the growth of the endowments held by both the Foundation and those held by the Johns Charles Townes Foundation which is managed by UTIMCO.
