Angela Styles is a partner in Akin Gump’s Washington, DC office and a recognized leader in government contracts and grants law.  From the Departments of Defense, Commerce, Energy, Interior, Homeland Security and Veteran Affairs to the General Services Administration, Ms. Styles has assisted clients with a wide range of issues, including suspension and debarment, procurement integrity, civil false claims, the Anti-Kickback Act, schedule contracting, leasing, complex internal investigations, intellectual property and the Buy American and Trade Agreements Acts.  Ms. Styles also works extensively with universities and clients within the National Lab Complex and serves on the board and chair of the audit committee of the Argonne National Lab. 

Ms. Styles served as Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy within the Office of Management and Budget at the White House in a Senate confirmed position.  She has testified about complex federal procurement issues at more than 30 hearings before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, including the Senate Armed Services, Senate Government Affairs, House Armed Services, House Veterans’ Affairs, House Small Business and the House Government Reform Committees.
