Audrey Andrews is a sought-after legal strategist and compliance expert known for guiding companies in transition. After beginning her career with Locke Lord LLP, she transitioned to the healthcare field. She devoted more than two decades of her career to Tenet Healthcare Corporation, where she helped to transform the company from a regional hospital operator to a Fortune 200 healthcare services provider with more than $19B in revenue and over 100,000 employees.
While at Tenet Healthcare, Ms. Andrews was honored to receive several awards, including the Women in Business “Changemaker” Award, the Magna Stella Award for Outstanding General Council, and the Corporate Counsel Award. Additionally, she was named one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare Magazine, General Counsel to Watch by Corporate Board Member Magazine, and a GC Influencer by Chambers and Partners. She has also lent her talents and voice to several speaking engagements, panels, and publications.
Since leaving Tenet, Ms. Andrews has devoted her time to board service. Currently she serves as an independent director of the Eating Recovery Center in Denver, CO, a Power Circle Member of the Center for Women in Law at Texas Law, an Executive Committee Member of the Texas Law AAEC, and a Trustee of the Dallas Wind symphony. Previous board service includes the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Federation of American Hospitals, the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Ms. Andrews is a double-Longhorn, having received a BA in Government from the University of Texas and a JD from Texas Law. She resides in Coppell, TX with her family.
