Sam Zabaneh, Latham & Watkins’ Austin Office Managing Partner, advises public and private companies and their venture capital and private equity investors across a broad range of corporate matters, including capital raising, M&A, corporate governance, and compliance.

During his more than 25 years of practice in Austin, Sam has represented a number of high growth companies and investors, including Aceable, BigCommerce, Brentwood Associates, ExpertVoice, Next Coast Ventures, ProTrans, RetailMeNot, RVshare, Silverton Partners, and Tritium Partners. Sam holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a BBA/BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to his corporate work, Sam serves as general counsel to the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, and previously served as Board Chair.  Sam is also on the Board of the Westlake Innovation Fund, which supports entrepreneurial education and business incubation programs for high school students in the Eanes ISD.

Sam and his wife, Sandy, have three children: Michael (16), Bella (16) and Emma (14).
